Mushroom ate a blue legged hermit

Thought I'd change the topic.

I have a small piece of rock with several mushrooms (Discosoma sp.). The other day I saw one of my small blue legged hermits on one of the mushrooms. Closer inspection revealed that the mushroom was actually eating the crab.
Thoughts anyone?

Yes, you should see the bigger mushrooms eat fish.

I was re-arranging to add some more live rock and moved my mushroom rock several times. Shortly thereafter, my hand swelled up quite a bit. I know a bristleworm didn't get me so I suspect it had to be the shrooms that doing something to me.
