What is eating my shrimp?

My tank is over two years old and since it was setup I have had two cleaner shrimp and a coral banded shrimp. A month ago my coral banded just "disappeared" from the tank. Then two weeks ago a cleaner shrimp was gone and now today I can't find the remaining cleaner shrimp. I have not heard any clicking sounds of a mantis and have not found any remains of these shrimp. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

It happened to me to mine was a mantis. My tank was 2 years old when it happend. the mantis just got big enough toget it.

When I saw the subject line, the first thing that popped into my head was a crusty old Cajun man sneaking into your house and cooking up your shrimp Creole style.

That made me laugh.

Sorry I can't help. Probably a mantis shrimp. We had a tank for two years that suddenly had a mantis shrimp pop out of it. With no addition of any live rock for the whole two years!
