easy mag-12 pump question

Which side of the mag-12 is the input and which is the out?

Simple. Sorry for the basic question, but I don't know.

For centrifugal pump, the outlet perpendicular to the impeller axis is output, the inlet is co-axial to the impeller. Make sense?

The input is the port that is directly in the center of the pump. When the pump is sitting on a surface, the output is generally pointing up.

Also, on the Mags the recpticle that is female is the input, male the output.

well, this may be too, too simple but.....if you put it underwater (assuming you have one already) and plug it in you will be able to tell by the water movment. It is a powerful pump tho so you may want to try this in your garbage can full of replacement water.
