Just a theory, but I know this is an issue for many who have bubble-tip anenome- they wonder around the tank causing trouble.
I have had three and the only one that has wondered is a white one. The theory is that it has lost its zooxanthellae and doesn't quite realize that the loss of photosynthate is due to no symbiotic bacteria. It wonders around, looking for better light but never can find the perfect spot because the cause is not light, but missing bacteria.
Another reason to avoid BTA that have lost their color? :?:
