Well, I'm slowly getting relocated to MO. I spend Sun-Thurs in MI and Fri-Sun in MO. By November I'll be permanetly in MO.

I've stopped by a couple of stores on 7 Highway around I70 and was very disappointed with the marine livestock and supplies. Help me out where's some good places to go?

I'll be setting up the 180 first of November and then transferring the stuff I have from my dad's to this tank. then I'll be looking for some local frag swaps once all is up an going.

Drop me a note or post a reply.

Hmmm the LFS stores of KC

My 1 > 10 scale

>>-1<< Pet Co
Is all over but you have to get them before they put the fish in their tanks. :P You can get good deals some times but it just makes me sick to support them.

>>3<< Overland Park pets
Nice people, usual LFS pricing poor selection of coral and poor quality of tanks. They do have fish and can special order. I sell them my algae some times.

>>4<< Aquarium ect.
Very nice owner, small selection, very nice LPS corals "no sps" minimum live stock selection.

>>0<< I cant remembe their names.. ther eare two in North Town, one is about a zero the other has good selection poor quality and bad advice.

>>5<< Brother's pets in Blue ridge. Extensive fish selecttion, minimum coral selection. They sell DT's and Rotifers! They also have a good selection of consumer tanks like All Glass and Oceanic. Pricing is high. Once a year they have a tank sale and sell them 2 dollars over cost! Including oceanic reef ready tanks and stands! "no special orders"

>>6<< PetsMart "not a chain store" on Johnson drive about 4 miles west of the plaza. They have a very good selection and even have occasional SPS coral. Their pricing is typical LFS The staff is helpful but don't specialize on just fish. They do sell DT's and mangroves. They also have one of the best invert selection in KC

>>6<< Waldo Pets. They are located in the heart of KC MO in Waldo. They have a very large selection of fish, and soft coral. They have LPS and have been around a long time. They are not perfect and sort of expensive but you should check them out. "they have a huge shark pond full of nurse sharks. I could spend maybe 5 minutes looking.. it is a bit crappy but is worth one look.

>>1<< Another I can't remember the name to:
They are located south of Shawnee Mission PKWY off Neiman. They are on the west side of the road across from Harding glass. They have a nice selection of consumer tanks, and a minimum ammout of live stock.. "plus it smells".

Well I hoped this helps.
I can trade softie coral frags.

PS I am trying to get a few of us local reefers to hang out in #reefsKansas
so we can get to know eachoter and trade frags.
