is something wrong with my xenia?

My xenia have shrunk from about six inches to only one inch. They are usually pulsing like crazy but right know none of them are pulsing. Also they are usually a beigh color but now they are almost white. Do you think something is wrong with them. I put in new lights last week ( power compacts 8 55 watt bulbs). Power compacts dont require a break in period do they? Do you think my xenia are sick?

I think your xenia may be in distress. This change in lighting, you haven,t changed outputs? has it been long since last change? how long have xenia been in tank? any polyps missing?

I had the same kind of power compacts, but they were about 3 years old. The xenia have been in the tank for over 4 months. I started out with one lillte stalk and it grew to about 20 stalks. They still look the same this morning.

Check your water parameters?
My Xenia decreases pulsing as the alk drops.
But I haven't seen a color change. I agree that your Xenia is stressed. Just gotta figure out why. My first check is always water quality.
