Ok, I finally have my sump set up and I turned it on lastnight and adjusted the ball valves on the valve tree I built off the pump.
My problem is, the hose I have running back to the sump has INCREDIBLE flow, but the flow out of the heads is barely noticable. In order for me to get a good flow rate out of the outlet heads, I have to shut off the tube leading back to the sump and then my overflow box cannot handle the flow of water going back to the sump again, so the tank over fills.
Help me please. I am running a DP 1200 pump and I am using 3/4 inch ID tubing. There are only 4 elbows above the outlet on the pump and the rest is clear hose with barbed adapters. My valve tree is setup like this...
Looking at it face-on from left to right... elbow w/ ballvalve leading up to tank, T fitting from Pump(down), T fitting w/ball valve going to sump (down), elbow w/ballvalve going to tank(up). camera isn't with me so I have no pics of the setup. I will try to get one later if noone can help.
I wonder if having my auxillary flow tube, before one of my outlet tubes, is hurting the flow? Hmmm
