Very interesting, I don't think it's US made. If not self made (unlikely), most likely its from european countries.

WOHOO! I havent seen one of those in years...

It's a Tunze clone made in Korea (I think impotred by Taam IE: Rio) and is totaly useless!

If you've inherited it, my personal recomendation is to donate it to the trash colector!

Question is, will it work? I have no skimmer on there right now and want one.. Maybe the reason I can't find it because it sucks??

hi.
APOS is better than nothing. So if you can set it up and running without buying a powerhead, go ahead and set this up. But if you need to "invest" anything into this thing, think twice. I am sure it is about as good as a seaclone skimmer or some other gadgets.

Slugz did not say that he have the powerhead for the skimmer or not, so I was just saying that if he can get it up and running without spending any more money (buying) than what he already did, just go ahead and use it instead of going without skimmer.

I assume there are livestock in his/her tank that may need the skimmer.

I emailed Tunze.. hopefully they will respond shortly..

Are we pretty sure that's the brand?

I thought reefmon indicated the one you have should be an imitation of Tunze. Therefor, contacting Tunze may not help you.
