Difference between these two 'Nassarius' snails?

Can anyone tell me what the difference between these two snails is or point me to an article about them? I have both in my tank, and both were sold to me under the name 'Nassarius Snail'. The multicolored ones are all over the tank and very active. The dark ones seem to be very dormant and hardly move much.

FWIW I see those black ones when I go diving up here in the sound. I didn't visit the links but I am gonna guess they are a temperate water species.
