Without seeing how it looks under the microscope I can't be positive of the genus, but the photos appear to be of a type of cyanobacteria. It appears most similar to Phormidium, which can be found on page 72. There are numerous other genera of cyanoacteria that have this appearance. Also, the shed skins of leather corals with attached diatoms can look like the gelatinous globs in your photos.

Assuming it is a cyanobacterium, it is of the sort that occurs in nutrient poor tanks. Your best bet for this type is to rely on strong water flow to prevent it from overgrowing corals. Some surgeonfishes will eat it, but most herbivores will ignore it.

I have change the water flow and it seems to be better (a bit new to be sur !).
I have another question:
Will your book on the alga translated (quickly !) in french like the other ?
In our club (CLAM) someone doesn(t speak english and a french version will be better appreciated :)
