AquaC Remora HOT Skimmer w/pump

Hello I just bought this skimmer for my 55 galon tank and it really is working great! I love it.... The reason I posted here is..... Is it really worth it? I mean what value do skimmers really have? ive never had problems keeping my tank clean so was this a waste of money?

Definately not waste of money. A good skimmer is always good to have, it takes out debris before it starts to break down into nitrates. If you have a reef tank you most likely need one, but if you have fish only tank you can get away without one.
