Patrick, I like the overflow that you have designed in your main tank. I wonder if you could make it even smaller?

Is there any good reason to have your overflow plumbed through the bottom, other that most folks sump is underneath? Why not have an overflow that is only 25% as tall as your tank? You would gain some space in the tank as well!
