Cloudy tank

Hi all,

I have a 56 gal cube tank that houses soft coral and some LPS's. It has for lighting 2x96watts of PC, one white and one blue and 150watts VHO one white and one blue. A reef devil skimmer and that's it for filtration. On Wednesday I notices something like seed weed growing on a piece of live rock. It was greenish brown in color and I didn't care too much for it so I broke off most of it. Last night when I got home the tank was cloudy.
This morning it is still cloudy. Can anyone tell me what could be going on?

I can't really comment on what is going on in your tank but I would recommend that you add an additional mechanical filter to clear your tank of floating solids. I actually use a canister filter and a Aquaclear 200 allong with my Skimmer. I believe this will solve any problems with water clarity in the future.
