I bought a tiger-tail cuc two-weeks ago and I haven't seen of him/her since. It was at night when I put him in. The parameters are all very good. Salinity-1.021, Ph-8.15, alk 2.5 meq/l.

Any ideas?

You'd be surprised.... I've gone more than 2 weeks at a time w/o seeing mine either, and then find it smack in the middle of the sandbed again.

I have had 2 tigers. The first one I had was maybe 2-3". I thought he died and so I bought a new one. I found him a few weeks later hiding in the LR crevices. I traded him in after that.

I also have a 10" cuke and after going on vacation then moving my tank, I never saw him again. I'm thinking that one is for sure dead. My water was looking really funky after I came back. Nothing died though.

Goodluck with your cuke

I thought my impatiens was dead. Then I moved the tank to florida, and spotted it a month after that. I know I didn't see him when breaking down the tank either.

Right now I'm in Pensacola, Florida at the Naval Air Station. I'm in week 22 of a 13 week training program with atleast 12 more weeks to go. (Let me know when you stop buying it.) Really. So, do you do water changes from the Great Salt Lake?
