URGENT! Your help needed to fight shoddy legislation!

Well, the government has done it again. They've created some new, vague legislation that isn't intended for the aquarium hobby but could have serious impacts. This one has the potential to force the airlines to quit shipping live fish/corals/invertebrates. I've created a campaign similar to the one we did for the Caulerpa ban. Access the information at

All comments must be in by December 27, so time is of the essence! Please, make your voice heard. The more complaints they receive the more likely they are to change the legislation- just like what happened with the California Caulerpa bill and the New York Wild Animal bill. When you guys join forces, you can create change- you've done it before, let's do it again! If you submit comments, please let me know by posting to one of the threads on the discussion boards. That way I can get a general idea of how many people are working on this.

Here's my two cents, submitted today...

Marine and Freshwater hobbiests are the backbone of research, conservation and emerging information on captive aquatic ecosystems. This legislation, although admirable in its attempt to curb (dog and cat) maltreatment during transport, may eliminate future study and breakthroughs into the mystery of wild reefs and most importantly, their conservation.
Please ensure that this document is modified to address its principle concern.
