Any one ever used a MAG drive 36 in line, as opposed to submerged? Or does any one know of a pump with a gph that's close, that will?

I have a Mag 36 that will drive my MR-3 Skimmer. There are plenty of pumps you can use in-line that will push the 3000+ limit.

Even though Amp 3000's get a bad rap. I will be using 3 on my system and they do not draw the watts that the 36 does

If I remember right the mag 36 is at like 265-315 watts. The ampmaster 3000 is at 120w or even 240 on some peoples systems.

Wattage isn't really that big of a deal. I just it to be reliable.

What other pumps in the 3000 range?

HOPE YOU KNOW THAT THE 3600GPH STATEMENT IS FALSE.. IT'S A FLOW RATED PUMP AND YOU''LL GET NOTHING CLOSE TO THAT IN REAL LIFE!!..
IF YOU REALLY WANT (sorry for the caps) 3600 GPH.. get 2 Iwaki MD 100 RLT.. otherwise you won't come close

I don't have the option of using two pumps. Don't have to have 3600, 2400 would probably work as well.
