here is some pics i finally got of my setup. it has been running for about 5 months and is doing great. i have a 25 gal refugium in the left lower cabinet that runs to the 25 gal sump on the right lower cabinet. i have about 17 different corals both hard and soft. there is also a large yellow tang, mandrin, and a cardinal in there somewhere. let me know what u think. jay

anotha... btw... does anyone know what the heck is growing in the background? it is some sort of coral, but i dunno what kind

Very Nice job Jay! I wanted to also commend you on your slow stocking rate, looks like you understand the importants of patience. Just keep a close eye on the mandarin to make sure he is getting enough bugs to eat.

lookin good, amazing how established your DSB looks after only 5 months. di you buy live?

the sand and rock i bought out of an established tank from a guy. it was like the tank never cycled it just ket on keepin on, as the phrase goes. there was no amonia spike and the nitrates stayed down too. it was wird, i experienced non of the problems commonly associated with a new tank startup

Tank is starting off pretty nice. Can't tell what the coral might be from that picture.
