Lighting Problem

Wow I forgot the joys of setting up a new tank :roll: . Latest problem…the lights! I am running two 6’ VHOs on an icecap 440 ballast. The lights come on for 20 seconds then go off. All the connection seem good. Did it according to the wiring diagram on the ballast. Any ideas?

It sounds like a problem with the ballast. Take it back to the lfs where you got it and see if it works on one of their tanks that uses a 440 ballast. If it works you know the ballast is ok and it is your bulbs or end caps causing the problem.
