I am planning a simple surge device using this design however i cant figure out how to make a power head pump water to the surge tank.

Anyone familiar with making this work?

What PH do you have??? Most PH outlets I've used (Hagen, Cap, Rio) you can use 3/4" vinyl tubing. Do you plan on having the inlet to the surge tank through a bulkhead?? If so, make sure it doesn't point right at the plastic float or interfere with it moving up and down freely or it won't surge properly.
