me and my little bro are settin up a 100 litre nano with a 20 litre sump, firstly ive never used a sump so i dont know what to do. I was thinking of making a DIY overflow box that starts after a power outage but if i did make it i wouldnt be able to match a pump to it cause im not sure how much output it would have, Is there anyway of measuring how many litres/gph that the overflow would have, i did read somewhere that a 1 inch size hole from the box to the sump makes 1000 litres per hour or some crap like that. plz enliten me on this subject and if you know of any DIY siphon overflows that you have made and used that started after the water level dropped please tell me where i can find em.
thanx dudes!
