anyone heard of /used this skimmer

its made by marine life aquatics
one of the LFS in my area carries them exclusivly. So far they have been the most truthful and helpful to me. They dont try to sell me something just to sell it. If it would be bad for my tank they actually will refuse to sell it. Very one on one. they even keep a reef monitor log for us (weekly water testing stats)

I am trying to decide whether to buy one of these skimmers, or get a turbofloater 1000 multi

they are selling the Aggressor for 189.00
There is no on around here that stocks the turbofloater, they can all order it, but would be 300.00+ I found a website that i can get it for 200.00
If anyone has any dealer links they can post, feel free!!

CPR Bak-Pak would prob. be cheaper through a mail order or E-Bay.
Worth a try, it looks pretty good.

i thought about the bakpak also, i actually went to buy one here in town, however both that he had were busted, the collection cups got crushed during shipping.
Then i started thinking about it I plan on upgrading to a larger tank. I have already wasted money on a prizm skimmer (thay arent to bad, but not awesome as i was told at the LFS)
I want something that will handle a 55-75gal tank when im ready to upgrade,

that's the problem we have with the bakpaks too.
People have also talked hghly of the AquaC Remora.
i havn't seen them run personaly.

I agree about the prizms, we stoped selling them after 2 months.

I haven't heard of the skimmer you mentioned, however I would always go for the biggest one I can afford for the same reason you mentioned about eventually upgrading to a bigger tank. which we wind up doing anyway no matter the will power.

I strongly suggest you look at the AquaC Remora or Remora Pro at http://www.proteinskimmer.com. I have the Remora Pro on a 75 and have been very pleased with the results.

i have an agresser, decent skimmer, but i wasnt happy with the customer
service of the manufacterer. i dropped the surface skimmer on it
and it cracked, emailed manufacterer 4 times trying to see if i could
order it from him since i bought this used from a freind of mine, no lfs in my area carry them. never got a response. not even a no. even asked for names of distributers that could order one if he didnt want to sell it to me direct.
i will never buy another product from them for this reason.
i also went to a turbofloater, much better skimmer in my opinion.
