? regarding controllers for those who use them.

I would like the most versatile/cost effective controller available. I guess I am really interest in a monitor not so much a controller. I want one that measures salinity/ph/disolved oxygen/temp/and ORP. I found one for $1,500. I don't even want to come close to that price. What is available and where can I find such a thing?

I am doing research on these as well. The two main ones seem to be the Neptune Systems controller and the Octopus 3000. Check aquadirect.com they seem to have a decent site. Or try marinedepot.com they have a bunch of different brands.

Any idea if the Octopus has a hard wired solution for lights, etc. rather than the x10 modules?
