You might talk to your local carptenter/woodworker/cabinet-maker. As long as they know how much weight the stand will be supporting, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for them to build it for you.
You should use a cabinet builder. he/she can build a stan that has the right size doors. especially the ones with the quick disconect feature. those are awesome. Removable braces and the proper size earthquake lip.
build it out of pine or oak and then have it stained or painted.
or - you can use your LFS and have them order an all pine or oak stand from LEE-MAR. they will build to your specs.
I would rather give my money to a local woodworker and support his family then to a company like lee-mar and have it take two months to get the thing right.
If you have a standard size tank, they will sell you a frame that holds the weight of the tank and doesn't negate the warranty. Then you can have a cabinet maker finish the outside however you want.
