Thanks everyone for your replies, I wish I could have replied sooner but I have been working 12 hour shifts for the past three days.
In reference to my lighting, it is a single 96W Smartlite bulb in a 36" fixture.
I also do use RO/DI water directly from the LFS, it's the same stuff that they put into their show tanks so I don' think thats the problem.
I'll try increasing the lighting to a regular day, removing as much cyano as I can and hope things will get better. Last time I ever buy uncured live rock though!
