Well I have now had my wave2k in my 125 reef for 3 days and I am impressed. I can stick my hand in the tank anywhere and find current there are seemingly no dead spots. There is no noise from the motor. It is great. The customer service can not be compared. I had a little problem with my unit and I called Mike on friday night at 6pm. He was there to help me until I was able to fix it. He was incredibly helpful, and gave up his friday night to help me out=) I have nothing but good things to say for this company. It is refreshing to see a company stand behind their product like this, you can buy with confidence. I only wish that they sold other equipment so that I could buy all of my reefing supplies from them.
Two big thumbs up for the company and the product, the water movement is great!

It did disturb it at first,
but after the sand settled there has been little problems. I have a 6 in dsb and it was actually on the sand for a while but I dug out a little bit of sand so its probably an inch over the sand. It was a sand storm for the first couple hours but you can get a baffle from them to stop that (mine is in the mail).
If nothing else the customer service makes it all work while because you can be confident they will fix whatever problems you may have.

Nope,
At least in no possible way I could think of...
Even if they did I there are no propellers or anything so they wouldnt get killed, they would probably just get whoshed right back out.
the openings are really small so I couldnt imagine something getting in there.
