Frag swap generosity

I would like to take this time to thank Josh, the mods, and Randy (prattreef) for their generosity in putting on this swap twice a year. Having run many functions for my volunteer fire department I know how rough a job this can be, it is also thankless and can get very frustrating very quickly. I would also like to thank all of the volunteers that have agreed to help out and the vendors for helping provide some great livestock and dry goods at great prices to the members of MR.

This brings me to my final and most important reason for posting. This is MR's fund raiser, it helps keep this site, that most of us have called home at one time or another, up and running. It also helps josh and others get Shirts, bags, stickers, etc made up for the members here. I have talked with a few people and we came up with a number of about 250 people that should be attending this swap. Josh has gone out of his way to make it very inexpensive to attend for members and has even offered free slots to people as well. I think this is very generous but I also think we as members, or our guests should do the right thing in return for the right thing being done for them. I urge you to ask your friends that are attending to ask them to donate to MR. I feel it's just the right thing to do. It's only my opinion but I hope that people read this and agree. I plan on donating some frags to the auction. I did last time also at the frag meet at that crowded dance studio. I was the guy with tons of Xenia colonies for $5 each My old account must have gotten deleted since I did not visit this website for a year or so.

Another way for all the guests attending to help support the MR community is to visit Josh at the swap and buy T-shirts, MR insulated frag carriers, glue, fragging tools and all the other goodies he's offering. This way the guests are receiving a nice gift to give their host member. :hug:
