algae problem

hope someone can solve my problem. all my live rock is covered in a green algae,the snails are not cleaning it up and neither is lettuce nudi's,i know the nudis are for hair algae and i dont think this is hair algae.
it is a 75g tank with 50 pounds lr right now no corals yet,220 watts of vho lights,6 fish , lots of misc snails, 4 nudi's,5 emarld crabs, cleaner shrimps,sea cucumbers.
anyways really want to get rid of algae,anyone have a suggestion?
i have another 45 pounds LR ready to go into tank but dont want to put it in till i solve the problem

What does your algae look like? How long has it been on the rocks compared to how long you have had your snails, etc.? Also do you know what kind of snails you have?

What are your water parameters? When did you do your last WC? Do you use RO water? Are you overfeeding? How old is your tank? Do you have a skimmer? Fuge?
