Purple reef lobster.

I bought a lobster from my lfs. He had it in a tank with nothing besides sand and a bunch of emeralds. Within a week all 3 of my emeralds are dead. I noticed him munching on them in his cave and then the next day the bodies were shoved out. Now my lfs told me he wouldnt harm them and the lobster was in with a bunch of em. But I know their territorial and since adding it all 3 of my emealds just died within days of eachother. Any advice appreciated.

mabe he built up a resentment being in a tank with nothing but emeralds :lol: sorry i cant be of more help.

advice? hmm, at this point i suppose it would be too late.

i would suggest doing your own research on any critters you might want to buy before actually making that purchase. many lfs have 'good intentions' but are not always right. it might save you some strife in the future.

you can always do a search on this forum. chances are, there are already threads with people having gone through the same experiences.
