I have a 10 gallon Nano which is doing awsome. I have no shrimp and no fish so my pod and worm population is thriving. I have a aqua clean 150 running with live rock in it, no sponge for filteration. I use only RO/DI water with aragamilk supplement.

I have 2 - 36 watt PC bulbs in a suspended hood.

My dilema is... I want to uprade to a 96 watt powerquad light and I want a refugium. Which would you get first?

Like I said, everything is doing good.

IMHO, the lighting you currently have is probably sufficient for the animals you have. Adding a refugium would be like adding a new tank with new stuff to keep in it. If you are going to move up to a larger system someday, the lights you are contemplating probably would be inadequate, so live for today. BTW, your current lighting and tank would make a decent refugium for a 20-40 gallon tank. Have fun!
