Kent Bare Bones RO unit

Does anyone out there have any expericences with the Kent Bare Bones RO unit.......Good,Bad or indifferent?Ant input woud be great!

I was talked out of that, supposedly the membrane will need to be replaced often since the unit has no pre-filters.

I have one, I have never had any problems with it. It does have a carbon prefilter. I upgraded it from a 25 GPD to a 50 GPD recently.

I have recently been having a problem with cyano, for the first time ever, but so has a friend of mine on the same city water supply, and he has a fancy pants DI system, so I am not going to blame it on the Kent unit.
