Wow! Looks great!
This weekend I will undergo "Operation-Save Blenny."
A few months ago my lawnmower went over the over flow and into my anemone tank below (most of my tanks are plumbed together). The little bastard would not let me catch him. He has taken to hiding under the oral disk of the anemone that takes up half the tank. He is slowly getting skinnier, as there is not much algae growth in there. I am not too keen on waving a net about in the tentacles of my prized LTA, and the piranhas, oops I mean tomato clowns, that live there make catching him by hand unthinkable.
Operation "Save Blenny" will involve relocating the clowns, removing as much rock as possible, and hopefully I can tickle the anemone and get it to close up.
It's blenny's last chance. He won't eat any food I put in there for him, and there is a mountain of algae on the back glass of my main tank waiting for him.
I hope it goes OK.

I have had two Lawnmower blennies. Both died. The first one was large and never ate. The second was small and ate everthing in site. He looked like he would explode. Then one day he vanished.
What is the trick to keeping these fish alive? They are cool as hell, but I don't want another unless I can figure out how to keep it alive!

:? well I don't have any hair algae...never have and both the blennies are fat like this. I think the key is getting them to eat foods offered. I started both of mine (at different times and different tanks) out in bare QT's. I spent a fortune on spirulina stick on tablets. (cause these guys really like eating off of something rather then in the water column). I would stick these things on the power heads, filters and glass. They of course swim around munching on stuff all day long, and came across the tablets and loved them. I also wrapped nori sheets around small rocks with elastic bands. During this process they really got tame and quickly associated me with food. I also got some bridle veil material and covered squares of mysis shrimp with bands around the rocks. Soon, they would eat right out of my hands. Well now you probably know the rest of the story! 
louey, I had a lawnmower once that would not eat any algae in the tank. I even stopped cleaning the front glass. I had PLENTY of several types growing too.
He starved to death and it was really hard to watch. He got weaker and weaker and would fall over from time to time until he just disapeared.
I tried feeding him everything, no luck. I just don't know what his problem was.

Laura, I don't know what the problem was with your LB but I think you should try another. If your up for doing what I did, it will probably work for you. I should also add that both of mine are huge meat eaters. They eat with gusto all meaty foods including mysis, squid, scallops and fresh open clams from the market.

The first one I had for years, ate anything, then he jumped out of the tank.
The second one is the one that starved to death.
The one I have now will eat nothing but tank algae, which is fine, as I have plenty. If number one had not been so cool and easygoing, I would not have tried number three after number two starved to death.
