I found my newest addition (yesterday) a cleaner shrimp, dead and hollow(eaten ) this morning. My water is fine. Just wonder if my yellow Tang or one of my two lawnmower blennies could have killed him. They seemed happy together for the first 10 hrs. or so.

mine was just killed as well. Do you have any other shrimps in the tank. My peppermints took out the new cleaner i bought. He might have already been dying because cleaners are very hard to acclimate and maybe he was already close to dying. hermits could have done it to.

not to doubt what you see, but are you sure it just didn't molt?
check around in the hidy holes amongst your rock. they hide for a bit after molting.

Heh heh. It is kinda "freaky" when you first experience that, isn't it. :) Glad to hear your story had a happy ending.
