PC Ballast

Hey all , im looking for a DIY Ballast for a two PC setup on a small 20XT tank , im planning to run twin 12inch bulbs , If you know any links to places where i can buy just the ballast by itself please post them for me .

What wattage are the bulbs?

look in your yellowpages for Greybar, they will carry it. Some Home Depots and Lowes can get them, too, as well as a local lighting supply house (like a "Lamp-World" or something like that) Should you want to look online try eBay and www.ahsupply.com

Im wanting to run 12-13 inch bulbs that run in the mid 20's range in watage.

You can use an Advance REL-2P-32. It's an electronic ballast that runs two 28W PCs just fine.

You should be able to find or order one of these at any local electrical supplier. If you can't find it locally you can order one from us (http://www.inlandreef.net/elbalfor2x28.html).

Depending on your local supplier, the price may be more or less locally.
