I'm sick of kids and adults alike tapping on the glass. I have signs posted, but they are ignored due to lack of positioning. I'm trying to find individual tank decals for *every* tank in the shop that say "Please don't tap the glass" or somesuch. Anyone know where I can get these?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Peace,

Chip

LOL, you'd think people would know better.

You could get some clear address labels, and print them up yourself if you have a laser or inkjet. Otherwise, a printing place like Kinkos could make them for you.

When I was a kid, my pediatrician had a Myna bird (sp?) in the waiting room. It was trained to say, "Don't put your fingers in the cage!"

just tape tiny hair like fiber non-insulated wires on the glass and then plug them into a high voltage source...problem solved.

We don't have that as a major problem - most parents keep their kids restrained - of course there is the occasional problem but not worth putting a sticker or sign up.

hi.
Rough customers, huh?

Even if you have the sign, some of them may not see it and tap the tank anyway. I suggest you to install an accoustic sensor, red warning lights, and a 40 dB alarm. When the alarm got triggered by the sensor (tapping of the glass), the noise and light will make the customer an attention-getting fool. This will make he goes away from your store really quick, and never come back

It won't really make a difference. People as a general rule ignore signs.
