Question about Crushed Marble

Hey Everyone,

I have a Question for you I went to home Depot and asked South Down sand also known as Carribeian Play Sand. The Guy look at me like 8O, and said our play sand is down in Building Materials. SO i went there they didn't have it but they had PlayBox Sand that is Crushed Marble and it said 99.9% Silica Free SO would this work also as a DSB. Thanks In advance for any response.

If you can, get a small sample of it (maybe a teaspoon of it) and put it in a cup and then pour some vinegar into it. If it fizzes, it's more than likely calcium carbonate, which is what you want.

Hey Shane, did what you said and yes it fizzes. So i will be using it along with live Sand. Will that be alright, using live sand with the Crushed Marble.
