IF I still my "own" (at home) fishies it would depend on which fish was doing the talking. If it were that evil male blue devil I had, he'd be telling me many bad words, and might even say bad things about my mother.

If it were the Z. scopas she would be a girly-girl and giggle. Then I would get irritated with her, but she was so pretty that I'd just say, "Shut up for once and eat."

If it were the longnose hawk, he'd wouldn't say anything, he'd just keep looking at me weird.

They ALL saw lots of stuff going on in my living room (mm hmmm!), so I think they'd gossip amongst themselves about it.
