I have a question regarding ozonizers and ozone. I have a project that involves the use of an ozonizer indoors. It will be used in an enclosed box and then released. The questions I have are

1) what levels are safe??
2) how do i filter the released ozone air so it does not cause any problems???

Safe levels (as mandated by the FDA and OSHA) is 0.1 ppm for 8 hours of exposure, 0.5 ppm for continue exposure. If you smell it , it's not safe. Good thing is ozone decays back to O2 in a relatively short time. A carbon filter screen is usually good enough to remove excess ozone, but the best way to prevent dangerous levels is to dial back the output on the ozonizer.

Can the ozone accumulate indoors or will it dissipate to a safe level shortly ??? Do you know if the carbon will remove it well enough to use indoors??? I am working on a crazy project that requires a ozonizer and don't want to play with danger. I appreciate the first post. Thanks for the helpful info.
