I had an accident in my 150 show tank. Problem is I added the sand bed first, then the live rock which I believe is wrong because the animals in the tank undermined the rock...causing it to crash into the front pane. I now have a 16" deep scratch across the front.
Has anyone ever had any luck polishing out such a scratch? :( Any advice will be greatly appreciated....Thanks!

hi.
Glass is "polishable" but the task is very very time consuming compare to acrylic. Osmium-based polishs is used. You may want to check jewelry and telescope (home make lenses) shop for the polishing compound. Unless the tank is very expensive, most people don't bother with polishing it.
