Spray bar or ball socket tubing ?

What do most of you use? I started out about 7 years ago with a spray bar. I've since tried different things, most recently ball socket tubing. I'm thinking now of maybe switching back to a spray bar. Should I ?

If I may ask, for what application are you referring to?

I'm sorry. For a return from the sump. It just seems that even with my pumps' return split into two ball socket ends, it has more pressure than flow.

Most reef setups I've seen doesn't use either. The output comes straight out of a PVC fitting, Sea Swirls, or SQWDs. Between spray bars and loc-line (ball socket ends), I see more people use the latter; not sure why. Personally, I've used spray bars in the past and I decided to discontinue their use after repeated clogs. They also have a lot of head pressure and will reduce the efficiency of your pumps.
