help plz!

ok so we were unloading some live rock into my dads 75 gallon,and something came off a rock......i think its a mantis shrimp,but my dad doesnt think so,its about 2-3 inches long,black eyes,petruding,,fork tail,lotta legs on side,and what i thought were pinches on front,can draw blood....anyone help me with this one? (oh yea,i was on here early,like in feb or something...and my 10 gal is doing fine,i got some rock for it,and i have a seabae clown and i just got a royal gramma in there,i got my dad into saltwater.....now if only he would go into reptiles.....)

sounds like a mantis but with out a pic to be certain i really cant tell, btw they dont call them thumb splitters for nuthin, be carefull if it is one you dont just want to grab it.

its a mantis.....next time i tell my dad,"hey maybe we should use the net to get it in the tank",or "dont put it in yet".....he'll listen....it is a baby mantis shrimp though.....we didnt put it in..thanks anyway though
