I have about 10 of those clams that come in on the live rock, atleast half of them are a good 3-4inches long. I was just wondering what i should do with them. Im scared that I wont be able to keep any other filter feeders, or "real" clams (tridacnid) because the other clams will be eating everything!

hi.
Most T. clam, especially the matured adults, get their nutrient from the algea that live in the mantle. It does not need much in the water for it to filter feed, esp. for the T. crocea or T. maxima. So don't worry.

Ahh, I see you have Florida rock...

I don't think those are clams (I have a bunch myself) - I think they're some sort of mussels or something.
