Looks good, but are you sure that a 700 gph return pump isn't going to be too much? If you do a DSB, it may end up looking like a 28g fluidized bed filter :? . The squid's a good idea, but w/ that much flow, u'd probably be better off by just using a T so it divides up all that flow. Maybe i'm wrong, and if i am, the current in that tank will rock!

does anyone else have any concerns with the 700 gph? or perhaps the PH? Remember these PHs are planned for Maxi-jet 900's ~230 gph.

IMO, it would depend on what you're planning on keeping. My experience has been that leathers and shrooms don't care for that much current. However, SPS would love it. It all comes down to the corals. Those PH's are ging to moving a lot of water themselves. Also, remember that your 700GPH pump will be more like 550-600GPH at 4'-5' return. I would try it and see how it works. You can always remove one of the PH's later if it is too much. I'd stick w/ the SCWD idea.

Although you may think that the pump is big, you are going to loose a lot of flow with the head height and splitting the flow? so you may find it might be not enough......... You wont know until you try.
