Since my fox face died I am looking for new fish ideas.

I would love a Purple tang but the tank is only a 58.

I niger trigger would be cool but affraid it will eat my inverts.

I am looking for a colorful fish with personality :D

In the tank now is a Six Line Wrasse and a Pecula Clown

Various small snails, hermits, Cleaner shrimp, corals.

A niger is great for your tank. I have yet to see one mean old niger. Otherwise, flasher wrass are colorful, vibrant, and full of action.

I have a niger in my reef tank. Great fish, sort of shy but so far not aggressive in the least - primarily a planktivore so he eats mysis, krill, mash etch from the water column. He and my regal tang hang out together most of the time and he's definitely low key.

I have a pair of jawfish also - could not reccomend them for a reef tank for these reasons

1. Their building will get sand everywhere - if you have any corals on the sandbed, clams etc they will get sprayed pretty regularly.

2. They get freaked out by large , fast swimming fish - can be very shy if not kept in a species tank.

3. They jump, Really jump. Need to be kept in fort knox type tank

Other than that they are very entertaining fish - I have bluespots but you can get pearlys for about 1/4 the price and just as entertaining.

Have you thought about a dwarf (Centropyge) angel? Maybe an Eiblii, Flame or possibly even a Pygmy (Argii)?

How about an Oriole Angel? Saltwaterfish.com lists it as a 50 gal or larger fish. It's got a lot of color.

I thought of an angel.

Possibly a lemon peel angel.

I have been reading that they will nip at corals and possibly nip at a clams mantle.

I plan on getting a clam or two in the future.

If I dont get a main "bigger fish" maybe I will go with a few little ones.

neon gobies, purple dottyback or something like them,
