Hanna Dip Meters...

Anyone have any experience with these? How exactly do these things work? I see that they require reagents so I'm a bit confused as to how they work. Are they worth looking into?

eeeek... I had only found them listed in Pounds "£"... Just did the math !!

Nitrate & Nitrite meters are : $174.24 USD

Amonia meters : $164.55 USD

Plus reagents ! A bit pricy for new reef toys !! 8O

Do you have the URL handy? My guess it is a ISE-based meter, or a colorimetric meter... but that's my guess.

Typically it is for people who need to do hundreds of test per week. Last time I check my ammonia and nitrate is about 2 years ago...

Are they worth looking into?

No, unless you need to do hundreds of measurement per week.
