Water Changes and dosing supplements

Hi all. Just wondering. When I do a waterchage should I wait untill the next day to dose calcium or alkalinity. Or does it really matter? I would say it does not really matter as long as you test after changing water. What do you think? Please enlighten me on this one please.

Doesn't really matter all that much, so I say dosing the day after is fine. I do

I'd say it'd be fine to wait 24 hrs. I'm running a kalkwasser doser so I don't even have to worry about that. I do my waterchange 1x per month and forget the rest. All I have to do is to make sure my RO/DI/kalk tub is full and I'm golden.

I dose as normal when I do water changes, but I dose my calcium supp at night. I don't think that I'd dose before the water change on the same day. You'd be removing some of the stuff that you just put in.

Watch the skimmer if used, and be consistent with the testing!
