Hey Ernie! Where ya been? Sorry, I've got no experience with this supplier, just wanted to pop in and say howdy.

I bought 100 lbs of the stuff when I set my tank up last July. The rock arrived a bit on the dry side, but had a decent amount of macroalgae and other life...nothing spectacular. 7 months later and I'm seeing more and more tube worms, feather dusters etc.

Can't beat the price. A box or two of this stuff mixed with some premium rock would keep the price down.

Did you happen to keep a pictorial log of your new setup? I think you're spot on about mixing the l/r, too.

Thanks for asking... I have been too busy to do much of anything lately. A guy at work quit and I have to cover his plants.

I ordered 45 lbs of figi from anchofish and it was crumbled up and they shorted me 8.5 lbs. I gave them the benefit of it being wet also. I tried contacting them through phone and e-mail and they never contacted me. I have tried contacting them for a month now and I stopped payment on it today.

I got an email from www.reefermadness.us; have never heard of them, but I might use them for som Kaelini LR. The pictures they have, and the description they game me over the phone about they appearance of their rocks was marvelous. I will see if I was lied to once I order it. It is currently running at $189.99 for a half box [45lbs] and the price includes 2-Day shipping, but I will upgrade it to Overnight for another $16.00. I post up the results once I get it in.
