K, thanks. Around 6 is the general concensus, eh? I think that number comes close too.

7E, don't worry, I have several buckets that stuck together and I simply can't get them apart nomore. The seal is virtually leak proof! :?

The volume of a cylinder that is 10.5" diameter and 18" tall is 1,558 cubic inches or 6.75 gallons. I think that is about the size of an instant ocean bucket if I remember right.

I use this site to calculate volumes: http://grapevine.abe.msstate.edu/~fto/t ... inder.html

They do other shapes as well. Remember to use the radius rather than the diameter and use the inner radius as zero.

FWIW, Nathan
