I just noticed today that one of my true percula clowns has a small white mass around its mouth. I had a problem with stray voltage a few nights ago, which has now been fixed, and this fellow was banging against the tank walls eraticaly, so I suspect it may have injured itself and now mouth fungus has set in.

Being a new aquarist, I am still learning. What do you recommend I do about this? Any specific treatments?

All water parameters are excellent, so I dont believe this is water quality related.

I would say Gargle with salt water

Honestly, I would say take him out and put him in a nice quiet quarantine tank, and keep the water quality very high.

But, I have not had that problem before, so make sure you get some more advice first.

good luck with the little guy
