What are some of the prefered ways of setting up a overflow in the tank. I'm probably going to have my tank drilled next week and am now researching where I really want it drilled.

Any links to pictures/ideas would be appreciated. I've search and read through a bunch here, there is just soooo much, I don't know what's best or even where to start.

I'm in the process of drilling and building my overflow for my tank right now. I'm gona be using a Durso standpipe setup draining out the lower back of the aquarium instead of the bottom. Since ur bottom is tempered, you shouldn't drill there either.

if u want you can look up durso standpipe on google if you haven't already

I think the idea of having it drilled out the back is a good one. Very clean design...
