Is the blueline easy to adjust? I have heard horror stories about needle valves being a pain to adjust.

I would say it's sensitive because a small turn can make a big difference in bubble count, but it does seem to accurately hold a setting. I haven't really had any trouble getting the setting I want, just need to make very minor adjustments.

Go to eBay. Do a search for the JBJ or the Milwaukee regulator/solenoid/bubble counter. The JBJ runs from $99-120; whereas the Milwaukee I bought for $79.99 Mine was actually a listing from eReeftank.com

I mentioned the Milwaukee in the thread I linked to above - that's the lowest priced all-in-one deal I've seen. Someone in that thread wrote in about possible problems with this unit. How has yours been treating you? Does it have a built-in check valve?

Hey Wolfie- does the Blueline have a check valve? I ran out of CO2 (oops tighten it better next time) and if I opened the needle valve with no gas in the tank the liquid in the bubble counter started to sink down...

I thought there was a built in one....?

Hmmm...that's strange. According to Andy at MRC the Blueline does have a built-in check-valve and it should be before the bubble counter (coming from the CO2 tank).

I never really checked this on mine to make sure it was working. Just hooked it up.

Maybe yours is stuck open?

Dunno, but I guess I can't tell if the tank is full of gas, which it now is...

Haven't tried it yet, I'm still debating on which reactor to buy. I will post accordingly later on. Thanks.

Yes, let us know how you like it. Thanks.

I just received it today to be exact... it looks definetly well made; I will elaborate when I try it out next week [hopefully].
